Car Free Morning In Kuala Lumpur

DBKL had earlier announced that , starting in January of this year, the first Sunday morning of each month 7:30 to 9:30 , they will prohibit vehicles from entering the city for up to 6 km of eight main sections and to allow more morning walkers, skateboarders , skating enthusiasts, cyclists and other sports to use the roads and enjoy the beauty of the city of Kuala Lumpur , the purpose is to reduce environmental pollution and improve the environmental awareness of society.

Unfortunately, the road wasn't blocked fully. Its still allow cars to use enter the city which promised to closed within the timeframe. Anyhow, we suggest that cyclist should go to the appropriate locations for safer riding instead of the road side where by all the cars just beside. It's advisable to have the cycling track in city like some other countries which including Taiwan and UK. Anyway, it's a good start to promote Green Campaign in Malaysia.
