1. RENTAL FEE
CASH payment could only be accepted and must be paid upon rental. Keep the receipt as proof when returning the bicycle to the rental station. Return must be on the SAME day and rental charges will be based on the bicycle rental rate. Maximum 3 bicycles could be registered under ONE receipt.

2. DEPOSIT
Either Identification Card / Driving License / Passport / Cash RM150 is required for each bicycle as security deposit. Deposit is refundable once the bicycle is returned to the station in same condition.
3. BICYCLES AND EQUIPMENT
Hirer must inspect the bicycle before accepting it for any damage or defects. Make sure the brakes work properly, tires are in recommended air pressure, pedal and saddle are in good condition.
Hirer is obliged to take good care of the bicycle from damages, loss or robbery. Should any of the above occur during the rental period, hirer is immediately and totally responsible for all costs pertaining to the equipment – damage or loss of equipment is set at the present market price. Person-in-charge at rental station will evaluate and determine the repairing cost. Herewith some reference:-
• Broken Brake / Gear Cables RM5 per unit
• Broken Chain RM7 per unit
• Punctured Tires RM15 per unit
• Bicycle RM350 per unit
4. SAFETY FIRST
Hirers are only ALLOWED to cycle along FRIM tar-coated roads (e.g. Jalan FRIM, Jalan Foxworthy, Jalan Jelutong, Jalan Symington). Hirers are not permitted cycling in off-road trails (e.g. Keruing Trail, Rover Track, Engkabang Trail).
Hirers affirm that they have the basic of cycling knowledge and familiar with the use of multi-speed bicycle.
ONE user can only ride ONE bicycle. Hirers are not allowed to take any passenger.
Please cycle sensibly, with respect for other users and the natural habitat. Take attention to the vehicles and passerby at FRIM all the time. Hirers are not allowed to speed or having race among other cyclists.
5. INSURANCE
It is the responsibility of Hirers to hold their own insurance policy. No insurance coverage is available from FRIM to insure Hirers from loss in case of injury, accident, damage, theft or other liability incurred during the use of FRIM Bicycle Rental Service.
6. LIABILITY
Hirers must take all necessary steps to safeguard their personal safety, property and any liability which they may incur to others during the course of the hire. Hirers use the bicycles at their own risk and agree not to hold FRIM, its agents, servants and employees responsible for any personal injuries or death, or property damage or loss, or by reasons of any events beyond the actual control of FRIM or due to force majeure.
7. CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE
You have acknowledged that you have read our terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
